On a mission to build and piece together a test automation framework that supports provisioning and virtualization, I’ve begun to research various tools to assist in the execution and scheduling facility. A tool called staf seems to be just the right lightweight communication tool to use for such a project. I haven’t seen too many examples of folks using staf so I’ll try setting up a separate blog entry about the experience. In the meantime, here are some good articles I found regarding staf and others about how homegrown test automation systems have evolved.
